Our Family vacation to Ocean City Maryland

We left Pittsburgh Saturday morning at 6am for the beach.. it was supposed to be a 6 1/2 hour car ride but the horrible traffic made it much longer! The car ride went well until we hit Hershey, PA. My son was just not having being in the car seat anymore. We stopped for lunch and used the bathroom. Then it was on the road again.. I tried keeping him happy with coloring, toys, and snacks, but that didn't help and I figured he needed a nap anyways. He eventually fell asleep and napped until we were about 1 1/2 - 2 hours away from the beach.. He did alright when he woke up, just fussing and whining because of course he wanted out of his car seat.

We have a very nice time. Enjoying the beach, the swimming pool, and the board walk. :)

My son LOVED the sand and the swimming pool. At first he didn't like the ocean water, but he got used to it and ended up liking it.

I just dumped some in until I thought it was enough. Start putting your cookies on a well greased cookie sheet. Then, I baked them in the oven for 15 minutes.. Remember cooking times may vary! These cookies were DELICIOUS.. very soft and moist! Hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

Homemade Bath Paints

This is one of my favorite activities my son and I have tried so far. :) Homemade Bath Paints! Simple to make and few ingredients. You're number one question will probably be "Do they rinse off the tub easily?" the answer is "Yes!" Here's what you will need:    - 1 tablespoon cornstarch - 4-6 pumps of baby shampoo - 2-3 drops food coloring - 1-2 tsp water - containers or a tray for your bath paints ( I used baby food jars I saved ) We only made red the first time so the measurements above won't make a lot of bath paints.. You can adjust the recipe to make larger amounts. :) Our red bath paints after it is all mixed together My son loved this. I need to make more colors now.
