Life as a Mommy

Today's Fun Activity Friday post is going to be short and simple due to I have TONS to do.. cleaning, laundry and packing so we can leave for the beach tomorrow! :)  So, here are a few simple FUN activity ideas. Enjoy! My son LOVES Play Doh! The library is a perfect way to spend a HOT day. My Son and I take a walk to our local library at least once a week, maybe more. Having fun and keeping cool in the kiddie pool. My son has tons of Hot Wheels cars. He loves when I draw him a "road" to drive them on. Another picture from our many library visits.

*Homemade Sidewalk Paint* Here is what you will need: - 3 cups cornstarch - 3 cups water - food coloring - paint brushes - containers ( You can downsize the 3 cups water / 3 cups cornstarch if you do no want to make that much ) I made enough to fill 3 glass baby food jars.  Begin by pouring water into a large bowl, then slowly mixing in the cornstarch. Separate into containers. Mix enough food coloring to get your desired colors. Then you are ready to paint!! My son had a BLAST! Definitely something we will be doing again.
